What payment does not change

• The rates we show. They come from official sources or licensed feeds, with their date.
• The order of rate tables, which is by yield.
• Whether we include a product. We list products that do not pay us too.

How partner links work

Partner links go through a short redirect on our site (addresses starting with /go/) so we can count clicks. They are marked as sponsored for search engines. The price or rate you get from the institution is the same either way.

Deposit insurance

We say a product is FDIC insured or NCUA insured only after checking the institution on the regulator's own lookup. A fintech app is not a bank; where its deposits are insured, it is through a named partner bank and only up to the coverage limits. Treasury bills, money market funds and crypto products are not bank deposits and are not FDIC insured.
